We went to Arkansas on the weekend of October 27th. There was not much that we did but hang out at my mom's house. Her cousin Kenneth was visiting from California and not many people at seen him for at least 24 years. Brian and I did take a couple of hours to visit my Grandma. Brian used her massage chair while we were there. I thought he looked funny so that is why I took a picture. I did not use it because I was afraid I would fall asleep. On Sunday night we went to Trunk or Treat at Calvary Baptist where we attended church before we moved.
My mom made the above outfit for Cadence. She wore it to school on Friday but as you can see she was a little to sleepy to take a good picture before we left.

California
This is how much we pay attention to the news
Brian recieved a phone call yesterday afternoon from his brother, Keith. Keith was letting Brian know that his family and their Aunt Linda's family is ok. Brian asked Keith "Why would you and Aunt Linda not be ok?" Keith replied "Do you not watch the news?" "South California is under fire"
Keith lives in Chula Vista and Linda lives in San Diego. As of 1:00 this afternoon, they was ok but things continue to get worse. Brian told his brother to come to our house but they are not allowed to fly and the driving route to Texas is closed. The only other relatives Keith has lives in Illinois and I think all of his wife's relatives live in the same area as they do.
Also, my mom has a cousin who lives in Bell Gardens, just outside of L.A. He planned 2 weeks ago to fly out tomorrow, the 24th, to go to Arkansas. He has not been to AR in 24 years. It is possible they he will not be able to make the trip, if those flights are cancelled. His flight will more than likely be delayed.
Please Pray the fires stop soon.

Goodwill
Cadence has been asking me for dress up clothes for a few weeks now. She has dress up shoes but not clothes. My neighbor told me she has found dress up clothes at Goodwill. Therefore, one day I stop at the Goodwill in McKinney, TX and sure enough, I found a Cinderella Dress. Just this past Monday, Brian and I went to donate some of our clothing to the Goodwill in Sherman, TX and decided to shop at that store. I found Snow White and a Superman outfit! I have to admit it might have been a little easy since Halloween is next week but Cadence now has dress up clothes. Since I do not work on Tuesdays now, Cadence was able to invite her best friend, Hannah, over to play dress up with her. They had a blast!..... and of course, Brice did too.

Craft Projects
Here is a few craft projects I did in the last couple of months. I girl a work with had a baby so for her baby shower I made a diaper cake and diaper wreath. I also decorated Cadence's bag for school with some cute buttons I found at Wal-mart. This is the first time for either project so I think I did pretty good.
